Herbal Treatments To Relieve And Reduce Migraine
People who have experienced migraines before know how much of an inconvenience and pain it is for anyone to go through. Migraines, which are more than a headache, are actually a neurological configuration, which basically means that it can be caused by a number of things, and a variety of symptoms can show up once it happens.
These imbalances that occur in a person’s body are what help lead to migraine and balancing these out will help relieve some of the constraints that a person may be experiencing them.
MIGRAINE CONTRIBUTORS
Some of the major contributors to migraines involve stress and emotional constraint, sinus congestion, tension headaches, indigestion and dysbiosis, inflammation, neck misalignment, food allergies, irregular eating and fatigue. Although some people are taking pharmaceutical medicines to help relieve them of migraine, sometimes these drugs are just not able to remedy their condition, which is why a lot of people are actually seeking alternative treatments due to their limited success in using prescription drugs. There are certain herbal treatments that people who experiences migraines can use to remedy their condition.
HERBAL REMEDIES FOR MIGRAINE
There are a lot of different herbs that can be used to help relieve a person from migraines, each one is aimed at targeting a particular symptom or factor that helps lead to migraine. Herbs such as cyperus, ligustici, atractylodes, gardenia and shenqu can relieve six different factors by simply mixing all these ingredients into one herbal remedy. These different herbs basically help a person experiencing migraines by moving the excess blood and gi down out of the head where the migraine is centralized. Once the amount of blood and gi in the head has been reduced, then the migraine sufferer can feel relief from the pain and tension that he is experiencing.
Other forms of herbal remedies come in the form of cassia, tribulus, uncaria, peony, licorice and chrysanthemum, all of which function in the same way as the first five herbal remedies mentioned. They also help relieve the pain and the tension experienced by a migraine sufferer.
Another herb that can be used to treat migraines is the feverfew leaf. The herb, wherein its main use is for treating migraines as well as arthritis, can reduce the frequency of attacks of migraines on people and can make these attacks less painful. Basically, the herbal treatment inhibits the aggregation of the platelets, normalizing the function of platelets in the blood system, as well as blocking the formation of pro-inflammatory mediators by reducing the serotonin release from the platelets.
Migraine sufferers can also benefit form using Butterbur root, also known as Petasites Hybridus, since this plant extract has the ability of relieving pain, and has spasmolytic and anti-inflammatory effects on a person. The more relaxed a person suffering from a migraine is, then the better his chances are of relieving the pain that is caused by the condition.
Taking these herbal remedies can be done once the migraine has begun to set in, but for those people who are experiencing migraines at a more constant frequency, then it would be better if they could take the herbal remedies even before the migraine is experienced, at least until the condition is no longer as frequent and as intense.

Novartis Drug Production for Irritable Bowel Syndrome Stopped
Beijing - China’s State Food and Drug Administration ordered that production and sale of Novartis AG’s Zelnorm for irritable bowel syndrome be stopped due to the fact that its risks outweigh the potential benefits for its users.
The halting of production and sale, which affected over three drug companies, was prompted by the numerous reports that China’s National Center for Adverse Drug Reaction Monitoring has received regarding the adverse effects of Zelnorm.
Novartis spokeswoman Corinne Hoff has already announced that they are complying with the Food and Drug Administration’s request to suspend the marketing and sales activity of the drug in China after it was linked to a higher chance of heart attack, stroke and worsening chest pain.

Bowtrol Colon Cleanser Does a Body Good
Everyone has heard the expression “Milk, it does a body good” and for most people that is true. Those with lactose intolerance of course can’t take advantage of it. But if you say Bowtrol colon Cleanser does a body good you are also very correct. Bowtrol colon Cleanser helps keep the human colon clean and healthy, and that is essential to good health.
Why is it essential to good health? Well think about what the colon does. It collects food, distributes nutrients and discharges the waste, or fecal matter. The fecal matter contains bacteria, which grows inside the body. It also creates gas. If a colon is not properly cleansed then gas builds up and that is very uncomfortable. Also bacteria continues to multiple and spreads toxins throughout the body, leading to potential problems with all of the other organs that are connected to the colon through nerves. The colon contains many nerves, more so than most other organs in the body. It may surprise you to find out that only the central nervous system consisting of the brain and spinal column contains more nerves in the human body than the colon does, and that says something about the importance of the colon. A problem can arise however, when the colon is not properly cleansed through not having enough regular bowel movements. Fecal matter can build up in the colon and bacteria will then continue to multiply and spread toxins. These toxins can make you sick, and one of the ways they can manifest themselves is through a syndrome called spastic colon, or irritable bowel syndrome. There are many symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome.
They can include diarrhea, constipation, cramping, headache, water retention, bloating, and abdominal pain. The abdominal pain can be relieved through bowel movements, and that should be indicative of the source of the pain. The colon, and the build up of fecal matter within it.
One of the best ways to rid oneself of irritable bowel syndrome is through the use of Bowtrol colon Cleanser and the resulting regular bowel movements that come from using it. In addition to use of Bowtrol colon Cleanser a person should also practice healthy eating habits. Cutting back on the amount of fatty foods helps. So does cutting back on sugars. Most important is the addition of fiber to the diet. Green leafy vegetables, fruits, and whole grains help tremendously. So do legumes, which means beans of all types and kinds. Legumes also include peanuts. Moderate exercise and a good diet, along with use of Bowtrol colon Cleanser definitely do a body good.

Potential Dangers Of Using Herbal Remedies
Herbal remedies have been around for a long, long time and have been used to help cure a variety of health concerns. Most of the remedies used before comprised mainly of herbal remedies since there were no other alternatives at the time. Herbal remedies were used by different cultures in different ways for different ailments and diseases, all before the development of our modern day pharmaceutical medicines.
Nowadays, we have been used to using different pharmaceutically developed medicines for our ailments and diseases, reducing the need for herbal remedies. Although such is the case, a lot of people still are using herbal remedies to address their health concerns, even if there are pharmaceutical drugs readily available to us.
One of the appeals of herbal remedies is the fact that they are tagged as “natural”, which means that they are made up of natural ingredients, giving them the appearance of a much healthier alternative to our modern day medicines and drugs. However, though such is the case, people seem to forget that most of the pharmaceutical medicines and drugs that people are using nowadays are also made up of natural ingredients, similar to those herbal remedies that we see and use. The only difference is that the ingredients in pharmaceutical remedies have been processed and developed specifically so that they contain the exact amount of dosage and potency. These pharmaceutical remedies have been rigorously tested before they were even permitted to be sold in the market, which is why their effects and side-effects remain constant.
With herbal remedies, however, their potency is not constant and standard. The same type of herbal remedy may not be as potent as the other since a lot of factors help determine the level of potency that a herbal remedy gets. Factors such as soil conditions, rainfall, as well as exposure to the sun can greatly affect the quality of the ingredients that make up the herbal drug, and can influence the potency of the remedy. And since these herbal remedies do not undergo the same level of safety and preparation, as well as the same level of inspection and testing before approval for use in the market as with pharmaceutical medicines, their quality is not always assured.
Another potential danger of using herbal remedies is that there are over 37 percent of these herbal remedies that are either known to be safe, or whose safety is unknown. This is a large percentage for people to rely too much on herbal remedies in addressing their health concerns. Since herbal remedies are not regulated by the Food and Drugs Association (FDA), there is no way of knowing for sure if the types of herbal remedies that you are using are actually safe to use or not.
Also, what makes herbal remedies potentially dangerous is the fact that it is not just made up of the ingredients that it indicates that it is made of. Since there are no strict policies and rules on how these remedies should be prepared and produced, other natural ingredients may find their way into the herbal remedy. These other ingredients may have adverse effects on the person using them, which is why people using herbal remedies cannot be entirely sure of the quality and effectiveness of the herbal remedies that they are using.
